Women of grace support families in Haiti

On December 31, 2020, Women of Grace in Haiti had the opportunity to close the year by reaching out to families in need through an initiative centered on compassion, generosity, and service. As part of the project, Women of Grace prepared and distributed 27 food packages to families. Each package contained essential food items intended to help provide nourishment and support during a difficult season.

While the assistance provided may have seemed modest in comparison to the many needs within the community, the value of this initiative was never measured by the amount that was given. What mattered was the heart behind the gesture. Women of Grace chose to give what they could, with love and compassion, to remind families that they were seen, cared for, and not forgotten. Every food package, every envelope, and every act of generosity represented more than material assistance. They were expressions of love and solidarity. Sometimes, even a small gesture can bring encouragement and hope to someone going through a difficult season. It is not always about how much we have to give, but about the willingness to share what we have with a loving heart. Through this outreach, Women of Grace demonstrated that meaningful change can begin with simple acts of kindness.

The initiative may not have been large, but it was carried out with a big heart, and that is what made it meaningful. The December 31 outreach was a beautiful example of how acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference. Through the dedication of its members, supporters, and volunteers, Women of Grace continued its commitment to serving the community and extending God's love to those in need. Women of Grace remains grateful to everyone who contributed to making this outreach possible. Together, through prayer, fellowship, and service, we can continue to bring hope and encouragement to women, families, and communities in Haiti.

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” — Proverbs 19:17
